About Us
We have continually developed Barton End over the past 10 years so that we can offer a wide range of up-to-date facilities and services for riders of all ages and experience. We hope you decide to come and ride with us!

The Riding Centre
Using our half covered 60m x 20m floodlit school, outdoor 30m x 20m floodlit school, dressage, jumping and cross country areas, our BHS qualified instructors can provide a wide range of lessons, from lead rein experiences for young children to dressage, jumping and cross country coaching for the more experienced rider.

Instruction
Instruction is greatly helped by our riding simulator. "Charlie" (manufactured by Racewood and one of only a few in the UK), walks, trots and canters just like the real thing. This is hugely beneficial to first time riders, for those who lack confidence and for experienced riders who, with the aid of the mirrors on three sides, can improve their posture and riding position.

Fun For Everyone
With a vast array of bridleways on our doorstep we can offer a wide range of hacks to suit every riding ability. Led by one of our qualified members of staff you can take a gentle stroll through hidden valleys or canter across unspoilt countryside, and for the adults we organise summer evening rides with a stop at the local inn for refreshment.

Your Own Horse?
For those who want to take the next step and own their own horse, or who already have and want to know more, we are happy to help. As well as lessons in stable management, horse care, and schooling we can assist in selecting and buying a horse, have opportunities for part ownership of a school horse and can provide on-site livery.
